There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about us. We hope you enjoy our site.
The mission of The Embroiderers' Guild of America (EGA) is to inspire passion for the needle arts through education and the celebration of its heritage.
For information on our national organization go to www.egausa.org
Due to the concern about the COVID-19 coronavirus, our EGA groups will not be meeting in March or April.
We were notified that our Springdale Senior Center is closed until further notice.
The Shiloh Museum is also closed through the end of April and has suspended all programs, events and public meeting room use.
Although we will miss meeting as a group, we do have projects to stitch - this is a good catch up time.
Everyone is welcome to attend any of our meetings once we resume meeting, hopefully in May.
NO STITCHING EXPERIENCE NEEDED.
No reservations needed.
Programs for 2020 cost $5 each or $35 for the year. Fabric and instructions provided for each project.
PROGRAMS FOR 2020
Meeting times for Bella Vista and Springdale are listed below.
FIBERS & STITCHES
We'll be using fibers for a fun stitch. Only short lengths of fiber needed - approx. 20-24 inches. No need to buy new fibers, just bring what you have in your stash. Any color will do.
Additional supplies: various needles, hoop or Q-snap no bigger than 6," scissors, and, if you have one, a book of stitch diagrams
Once we continue to meet we will have a coverlet program at the Shiloh Museum.
More information on this program to follow.
CHRISTMAS IN JULY
Don't forget an ornament is needed for this program. This could be your catch up project.
