OUR MEETINGS
At present, one meeting is held in Springdale on the third Saturday of each month from 10 - 11:30 AM. The new location is the Meeting Hall on the Shiloh Museum Campus.
Guests are welcome to visit meetings for two months. After two meetings we will invite you to become a dues-paying member.
The mission of The Embroiderers' Guild of America (EGA) is to inspire passion for the needle arts through education and the celebration of its heritage.

Anyone is welcome to join us to learn new embroidery techniques, stitch fun projects or to get help with an embroidery project.

Participants will receive a square of fabric. Class members will need to select a pattern of their choice to fit this 18 count fabric and provide their choice of threads. The stitched area will be 6" x 6", finished.
You may want to bring #5 or #8 Pearl Cotton and some 6 strand DMC.

The Embroiderers' Guild of America (EGA) was established in New York in 1958 as a branch of The Embroiderers' Guild of London. EGA withdrew from the London Guild in 1970 and The Embroiderers' Guild of America came into being. EGA is made up of 13 regions across the US and Canada.
Our chapter was chartered in 1995. Our members live all over Northwest Arkansas - Bella Vista, Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, Fayetteville, Prairie Creek - and southern Missouri. We welcome anyone interested in stitching with a threaded needle to visit one of our meetings.

Meetings are held at the Shiloh Museum in Springdale at the
Shiloh Museum of Ozark History's meeting hall, located at 121 West Huntsville Avenue, one block north of the museum, in downtown Springdale. The parking lot is accessible from Price Avenue.

9:30 AM meetings scheduled for the second Thursday at St. Theodore's Episcopal Church, 1001 Kingsland Road, in Bella Vista have been cancelled.
Yearly dues of $50 is due by May 21. Renewals can be given to Rhonda at the April and May meetings, or mailed to her.
Primary dues is $50 a year which includes the chapter and national dues as well as a quarterly national magazine, "Needle Arts," an education catalog, access to the EGA lending library and numerous educational opportunities.

The Embroiderers' Guild is made up of 13 regions. We are in the South Central Region which is made up of stitchers from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana.
Every year we have a seminar where we bring in teachers for 3-day, 2-day and 1-day classes.
